From NAFTA to the USMCA: The Consequences of US Trade Policy


On World Views' October 25 roundtable discussion, Suzette Grillot and Rebecca Cruise discuss Brazil’s contentious presidential election. Then, Suzette speaks to development policy expert Kevin Gallagher.

Rebecca Cruise is the Associate Dean of Student Services at the David L. Boren College of International Studies, as well as an Assistant Professor in International and Area Studies. Her research and teaching focuses on international organizations, activism, and global security. She received her BA from the University of Portland and her PhD from OU’s Department of Political Science.

Kevin Gallagher is a professor of global development policy and director of the Global Development Policy Center at Boston University's Pardee School of Global Studies. His research and courses address international economics, development policy in China and the Americas, and Latin American Industrialization. He has also served as a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University, a senior research fellow at Tufts University, and a visiting scholar and lecturer at universities in Buenos Aires, Beijing, and New Delhi.
