Mitchell Smith is a Professor and Chair of the Department of International and Area Studies at the University of Oklahoma. His research and courses cover the politics, economics, and public policy of the European Union and its member states. Shauna Curry is a professional engineer and CEO of Canada’s Centre for Affordable Water Sanitation Technology (CAWST). She has led the expansion of the Centre’s service delivery from two countries to 5,000 clients in 194 countries. Prior to joining the Centre in 2004, she worked in environmental engineering. Curry recently visited OU to serve as a juror for the 2019 University of Oklahoma International Water Prize.
