Clean Water Worldwide: Improving Access, Infrastructure, and Community Knowledge

On World Views' October 12 episode, Mitchell Smith joins Suzette Grillot for our weekly roundtable discussion. Then, Suzette interviews water resource expert and professional engineer Shauna Curry about her work to improve water infrastructure worldwide.

Mitchell Smith is a Professor and Chair of the Department of International and Area Studies at the University of Oklahoma. His research and courses cover the politics, economics, and public policy of the European Union and its member states. Shauna Curry is a professional engineer and CEO of Canada’s Centre for Affordable Water Sanitation Technology (CAWST). She has led the expansion of the Centre’s service delivery from two countries to 5,000 clients in 194 countries. Prior to joining the Centre in 2004, she worked in environmental engineering. Curry recently visited OU to serve as a juror for the 2019 University of Oklahoma International Water Prize.
