The Future of Global Engagement: Foreign Policy, Diplomacy, and the Fulbright Program

Mitchell Smith is a Professor and Chair of the Department of International and Area Studies at the University of Oklahoma. His research and courses cover the politics, economics, and public policy of the European Union and its member states. He joins World Views on this episode to share his insights on the potential for a renewed relationship between the United States and Hungary’s polarizing prime minister.

Bushra Asif holds a Masters in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Chicago. Prior to joining the College of International Studies at OU, she worked as a program advisor for scholarships and postgraduate opportunities at Dartmouth College. Asif currently serves as the Fulbright Program advisor and Global Engagement Fellowship coordinator at the University of Oklahoma. She joins us on this episode to discuss the Fulbright Program and its development here at OU.
